Day 1: Welcome to Russia

Upon request, you will be met and escorted to the 5* cruise ship, your home for the next 7 nights in Russia. Enjoy the evening entertainment and dinner on board. As an option join a Moscow by night tour to watch the magical illumination of the city.

Day 2: Explore Moscow

After breakfast get acquainted with the most interesting sights of this vibrant city. Join the panoramic city tour, walk in Red Square, view St. Basil’s Cathedral and visit GUM department store. Reach Christ the Savior cathedral and learn about its controversial history. After lunch explore Moscow Kremlin. View the Tsar Cannon and Tsar Bell and visit one of the magnificent Cathedrals – the Assumption, the Annunciation or the Archangel Michael’s. Return to the ship for the Captain’s Welcome Cocktail Dinner and the concert.

Day 3: Uglich

After breakfast, you may participate in the lecture on Russian history and learn some Russian. Then enjoy a walking tour in Uglich – an ancient town on the Volga River with more than 1000 years of history. Visit Uglich Kremlin and Church of St. Dmitry on the Blood which was built on the spot where prince Dmitry, son of Ivan the Terrible, was murdered. In the evening enjoy entertainment onboard and a traditional dinner.

Day 4: Goritsy

Before arrival in Goritsy take a Pelmeni master cooking class. Goritsy is a tiny village settlement on the edge of the White Lake. Tour the Monastery of St. Cyril, which was one of the largest, richest and most famous monasteries in Russia in XV-XVII centuries. Before dinner, play some traditional Russian games.

Day 5: Kizhi

In the morning embark on a Captain’s bridge tour. Then reach the unique island in the Onega Lake. Kizhi Island became famous due to the collection of wooden churches built completely without the use of nails. Have a tour of the open-air museum of wooden architecture. Return to the ship for a themed dinner.

Day 6: Mandrogui

After breakfast don’t miss the Q&A session with locals about everyday life in Russia. Later, explore Mandrogui – a reconstructed village, built to illustrate the traditions and lifestyle of Russia’s past. Visit the vodka museum and talk further with locals. Have a BBQ lunch, taste shashlik (kebab) and enjoy the scenery. Relax and enjoy the Gala Concert.

Day 7: St. Petersburg

The city tour of St. Petersburg will feature the impressive St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Bronze Horseman statue of Peter the Great and a splendid view of the city from the Spit of Vasilievsky Island. Follow your guide to the oldest part of the city – Peter and Paul Fortress where the town of Peter started in 1703. After lunch visit the Hermitage Museum, which features one of the largest art collections in the world.

This luxurious four-deck vessel was built in Czechoslovakia in 1980 and fully refurbished from the hull in 2009. There are spacious cabins onboard, most of them featuring balconies. The cabins are equipped with extended bathroom with shower stall and furnished with two separate beds that can be put together, bedside tables, console mirror, chairs, wardrobe, TV, fridge, radio, telephone, hairdryer and safe.
