Day 1: Welcome to Riga

Arrival to Riga. You will be met, greeted and escorted to your hotel.

This evening explore the neighborhood of Old Riga. Visit the Dome Cathedral which boasts one of the world’s largest pipe organs. Enter St. Peter’s Church with magnificent views of the city from its steeple. View the wonderfully restored buildings, now housing cozy restaurants, cafes, bars, and souvenir shops. 


Day 2: Riga Art Nouveau

Today we offer you some insights into the history and architecture of Riga. Sightseeing Tour begins with driving along the central boulevards, 

enjoying the view of the City Canal parks, the Bastion Hill, the Powder Tower, the Art Nouveau buildings of the beginning of the century,  and Daugava River with its bridges.

After the traditional lunch visit the Art Nouveau Center. The building itself is an apartment house designed in 1904 by Kostantins Peksens, one of the most famous Latvian architect at the turn of the Century. The building is still filled with eclectic elements, with the roof contour heavily influenced by late German Renaissance style. 

Evening optional program: Enjoy the Latvian National Opera private backstage tour and get to know the secrets of actor’s real life. Meet with real artists, enjoy a glass of champagne and little private performance.

Day 3: Latvian National Museum of Art

After breakfast, meet with your guide in the lobby of the hotel. This morning visit the Latvian National Museum of Art. Its collections have more than 52000 works of art reflecting the development of professional art in the Baltic area and Latvia from the middle of the 18th century to the present day.  It also presents the brilliant works of Russian art from the 16th century to the first half of the 20th century. The Latvian National Museum of Art operates in two buildings, both historically important for the history of Riga. 

Enjoy your lunch and then have free afternoon at leisure or, as an option, travel to Rundale Palace.

Rundale Palace, the most magnificent masterpiece of baroque architecture in the Baltic States, lies at a distance of 70 km from Riga. It was built as a summer residence of the Duke of Courland Ernst Johann Biron in the first part of the 18th century by the Italian architect F. B. Rastrelli, the baroque genius from Italy who created many of St. Petersburg’s finest buildings including the Winter Palace.
