Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met, greeted and escorted to your hotel. After the check-in join the sightseeing tour of Warsaw. Day 4: Discover Krakow

Depart to Krakow to explore the city. Visit the Jewish Quarter. Walk the streets of Kazimierz, stopping at synagogues, market squares and beautiful old graveyards. Cross the river and explore Podgorze (a short walk from Kazimierz). This area, once a prosperous mercantile district, became Krakow’s Jewish ghetto during the war. Fragments of the old wall still survive as a chilling reminder of the past that is really not that long ago at all. Whilst a few Jews managed to escape from the ghetto (Roman Polanski is a well-known example) most were transported from here to the death camps. End the walk back in Kazimierz, which today is enjoying a far‐reaching renaissance.

Meeting with a Holocaust Survivor would be the highpoint of the entire Polish experience. These meetings in the Galicia Jewish Museum are organized with the intent to provide a friendly atmosphere for witnesses, one that makes them comfortable to tell their stories and answer all kinds of questions from the audience afterwards.
