Arrival in Moscow. You will be met, greeted, and escorted to your hotel.
Day 2: Ancient Russia Discovery
Today enter the Kremlin – one of the largest fortresses in the world. Step onto Red Square to admire the colorful domes of St. Basil’s Cathedral and then see famous landmarks including the Savior Tower, the State Historical Museum and Lenin’s mausoleum. Red Square was originally a simple marketplace with wooden buildings and throughout the years eventually replaced by a permanent structure, the magnificent GUM department store.
Soon you’ll reach Kolomenskoye Estate. It is the oldest settlement to be found on the grounds of present-day Moscow. Visit the reconstructed wooden Tsar’s Palace, dress like a Tsar and enjoy taking photos in the ancient interiors of the Palace.
In the evening, enjoy a dinner a la Russe, and soak up the unique atmosphere of downtown Moscow.

Day 3: Back in USSR
Take a Metro ride to explore the grandeur of Moscow’s most impressive stations that were originally built for the enjoyment of the people that used the Metro daily. Then get your cameras ready and explore the recently declassified Bunker of the Cold War located in the very center of Moscow at a depth of 43 meters. Open the blast doors, set the bunker ventilation in motion, try the communication system, use dosimeters, and put on a gas mask to totally feel immersed into this historical site.
Next visit Ostankino TV tower – one of the tallest buildings in Moscow. Plan to have lunch here while enjoying the most brilliant panoramic view of the city or just stop for coffee. Then visit the Museum of Cosmonautics as it contains a wide variety of Soviet and Russian space-related exhibits and models. Here you will see a Space capsule used by Yuri Gagarin, a Soviet moon rover, spacesuits, and many more artifacts. If you are still hungry stop for experiencing something unusual. Try eating some genuine cosmonaut food. Your next stop is taking a walk in VDNH Park which was built during the Soviet Era and now a favorite place for rest and entertainment. This area is like a small town within a large city with its own avenues, fountains, and palaces. This park is like time machine as you will feel you are back in USSR, but with a contemporary touch. Amazing!
Day 4: Contemporary Moscow
After breakfast, walk to the new urban Zaryadye Park located next to the Kremlin for year around fun. Admire and walk on the “Soaring Bridge” one of the main attractions and see breathtaking views of the Kremlin from this unique bridge over the Moscow River. After lunch upon returning to St. Petersburg you will enjoy the Canal Cruise. Viewing the city from the water gives you an entirely different perspective of this magnificent city.

The history of New Holland dates to the time when Peter the Great founded St. Petersburg and is closely connected with the foundation of the Russian fleet. Now it is one of the main recreation areas associated with the city such as Gorky Park is in Moscow.
