Day 1: Explore the City

Upon arrival meet with the professional guide and transfer to the hotel for the check-in.

Then have the city tour of Old Tallinn, where whole districts date back to the Middle Ages. Visit its quaint narrow streets and beautiful merchants’ houses exemplifying the best of Gothic architecture. The tour includes Toompea Castle, the 13th-century Dome church, the 19th-century Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Alexander Nevsky, and the 15th-century town Hall square.

Then visit the TV Tower. A modern permanent exhibition with a futuristic design gives an overview of the country. From a height of 170 meters view the ancient Tallinn and the glistening Baltic Sea. The observation screens let you move around in time and space – they show what the city looked like at different times.

Day 2: Museum Day

After breakfast visit Kadriorg Palace. The palace was constructed in 1720’s as a gift by Peter the Great to his wife Catherine I to use as their summer palace. It is an excellent example of Baroque architecture. The Foreign Art Museum of the Kadriorg Palace displays paintings, sculptures, graphic art and applied the art of Western Europe and Russia from the 16 -20 century.

Then enter KUMU (KUnstiMUusem – Art Museum). It is a new type of modern multifunctional art building that contains exhibition halls, a lecture hall offering diverse facilities, and an educational center for the art lovers.

Day 3: Rocca al Mare

This morning visit the Estonian Open Air Museum. It is located on a wooded coastal headland in a beautiful place called Rocca al Mare. The Open Air Museum presents the unique collection of old Estonian buildings. Farms, windmills and watermills from various periods and regions have been brought together here. Folk holidays are celebrated in traditional style. You can buy some handicrafts here, or even rides a horse.

Later, depart to the airport for your onward flight.
